Just a hairy selfie
What do you do when your laptop has shipped to Alienware support?
You go dogwalking.
Facilitated by springy weather off we went.
The bear (aka Lulú, aka the Yeti, aka The Hairy Dog) was definitely in the mood for a walk -but when isn't she?
And we also stopped for a selfie:
For who doesn't know, we're currently in north-east of Italy. A beautiful hilly area, about one hour from Venice.
Great for dog walks and bear walks, but mostrly famous for a rather popular beverage...
I know, not the most enlightening post. But we had fun.

The rest of the Hairy Family
Yes, we like cats too. And these bizarre creatures are another great source of inspiration. Especially this one:
Sophie, a 9 y.o. caramel Exotic Shorthair. 3.5 kg of pure fluff.
Cats are fun to watch, play with and they make excellent illustration and drawing subject:

Who's the Real Hairy Dog?
The Hairy Dog is simply my family's favourite dog breed, the Old English Sheepdog.
At this precise moment in time we're at OES number 5, Lulu', an awesome 2 yo, 30 kg, ball of fluff:

My parents and I are very fond of the breed and we had the privilege of owning five of these fab quadrupeds since I was 10 yo (Aurora, Mose', Toto' and Noe' came before Lulu').
Lulu' and her predecessors are obviously the main source of inspiration for "The Hairy Dog Project".
They all have been portrayed in various media and styles, from a very stylized version used for my Etsy shop logo to some traditional paintings on canvas:
